STANLEY, N.D. – The North Dakota Democratic House and Senate Caucuses will hold a field hearing this month to seek answers to questions about oil pipelines.
“The recent Tesoro pipeline spill near Tioga has raised many serious questions about the integrity and security of oil pipelines in western North Dakota,” Rep. Kenton Onstad of Parshall said in a statement. “It is important that these questions are answered immediately.”
The event will be from 2-4 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Mountrail County South Complex in Stanley. Invitations have been sent to several officials and the public is invited to attend, Onstad said.
