Seeking N.D. reviews of ‘Promised Land’ movie on fracking

WILLISTON, N.D. – If you saw the movie “Promised Land” this weekend, I want to hear from you.

I’m curious about what North Dakotans and people who live around oil development think about the film that addresses fracking.

But as Forum reporter Sam Benshoof reported, those of us who live in the Oil Patch did not get the movie this weekend. The movie was available in theaters in Fargo, Grand Forks and Bismarck starting Friday.

If you saw the movie and have thoughts you’d like to share, leave a comment on my blog or send me an email to adalrymple@forumcomm.com. If I get enough responses, I’ll share them here.

  1. I would like to know where you would see Promised Land? This one sided oil run state has banned showing the movie in the area. Afraid residents may actually learn the truth?
