MINOT, N.D. – The North Dakota Association of Oil and Gas Producing Counties is holding its annual meeting today in Minot.
A highlight of the meeting is expected to be discussion of concepts to improve the gross production tax distribution to solve rapid growth pains in western North Dakota.
Speakers include Gov. Jack Dalrymple, gubernatorial candidate Ryan Taylor, Department of Mineral Resources Director Lynn Helms and energy impact coordinator Wayne Biberdorf.
The association is made up of 19 counties that have oil, gas or leasing development in the county boundaries.
